Mohd Safi'e M. Jaffri, Malaysian, is the Executive Chairman of the Bionas
Group. Prior to Bionas, he has acted in the capacity as chief executive of
several notable organizations within the technology, construction and
property development sectors in Malaysia and Singapore in the past. These
include amongst others executive chairmanships in South Johor Amalgamated
Holdings Berhad (now known as SJA Berhad), a diversified public company
listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities, and the Chase
Development property development group in Singapore. He has also been
associated with the production of the world's first tablet personal
computer, and was also involved in identification technology endeavors such
as the e-passport system for the Tajikistan Government, Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID) personnel tracking for the Malaysian Prison
Department, delegate tracking for the ASEAN Ministers Meeting in conjunction
with ICT week Malaysia 2006 and warehouse management systems for an
Indonesian supermarket chain. Today, he continues to play a pivotal role
and is an essential driving force in the success of the Company's corporate
strategies and various operational efforts. |

Zurina Amnan, Malaysian, is the Chief Executive Officer of the Bionas Group. She has been key in mapping out the Group's core strategies. She leads the operational supply chain, and business and corporate relations of the Group. Zurina is entrenched in the Group's operations, managing over 330 nurseries and collection centres and million acres of plantation. This includes managing 8 biofuel processing plants around Malaysia and in neighboring regions. Her leadership quality has extended the company’s global presence to Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Kenya. With the Company diverse operational experience and unrivalled business heritage, it is now poised to take a leading position in the global business arena. Zurina has also been invited to speak on Jatropha development strategies at the Jatropha World Summit 2008, Bali, Indonesia. She has also acted in the capacity of chief executive in several other national level technology projects in the past. |

Izmet Iskandar Tan Sri Ramli, Malaysian, is Director of Corporate Affairs of the
Bionas Group. He is an Affiliated Member of the Association of
International Accountants (AIA), and a Member of the Corporate Finance
Faculty under the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales
(ICAEW). Izmet is also a director of Firium Solutions (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd,
an investee information & communication technology solutions company of
Sumitomo Corporation immediately after his term as Director of Corporate
Finance at Persoft Systems Sdn Bhd, a leading Malaysian Microsoft software
licensing corporation. He also served with RHB Capital Berhad where he was
Secretariat of the Working Group Committee responsible for setting up of RHB
Islamic Bank Berhad. His experience in Islamic banking and finance was
further expanded via his involvement on the Islamic Financial Services
Board, an international standard setting body for the Islamic financial
services industry, hosted by Bank Negara Malaysia. Prior to joining RHB
Capital Berhad, he was involved in assurance services with Ernst & Young and
Arthur Andersen. Izmet holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in
Accounting and Finance from the University of Southampton in the United
Kingdom (UK).

Yuswira Md Yussop, a Malaysian, was appointed to Bionas Group as Technology Director. His primary responsibilities span over Bionas’s technology implementation and maintenance at all company’s factories, mills and refineries. He also works closely with the production division in line of research and development (R&D). He holds Bachelor Degree of Engineering (Hons) from Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan. He has wide practical experiences in Preventive Maintenance (TBM & CBM), Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Troubleshooting activities, RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) for Press Machines, Conveyor System, and Transfer Equipment. He has gained these experiences from working in senior positions with Miyazu (M) Sdn Bhd, Proton Bhd and Hatakeyama Engineering Sdn. Bhd. During his last service at Miyazu, he was the Head of Maintenance Department who was responsible to monitor MTBF & MTTR for 11 Production Lines and 16 Overhead Cranes ranging from 5 to 40Ton. He also has ability to communicate in Japanese, English and Malay. |

Khairil Anuar Bin Zainuddin, a Malaysian, was appointed to Bionas Group as Operation Manager. His main responsibilities include the general operation of Bionas group of companies, project development and client relationship management (CRM). He is also responsible for the administration of Bionas Murabahah Bhd. He began his career in 2006 as General Manager, in an Oil & Gas Related Company from 2006. He then became an IT Manager cum General Manager from 2009 onwards. He had gathered vast knowledge and experiences in corporate management, business due diligence, market research, Palm Oil industry, Halal Industry, Oil & Gas Industry and Information & Communication Technology. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from University of Technology Malaysia (UTM). He participated in international conference in Spain in 2007 and was awarded a bronze medal for his research. |

Zarina Binti Edris, a Malaysian, was appointed to Bionas Group as Chemistry Division Manager. Her responsibility includes conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses and experiments in Bionas's laboratories for quality control, product improvement and developing new formulas. She holds MSc in Chemistry from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is a member of Regional Analytical Science Symposium (SKAM). She has actively participated in various international congresses and conferences such as 14 Asian Catalysis Congress, Korea (ACC) 2008, International Conference of X-Ray (ICXRI) 2006 – 2008 and International Workshop & Conference in Nanotechnology, MPOB-GSAS Seminar “Frontier Research for The Oil Palm Industry 2007” and International Conference on X-Ray and Related Techniques in Research & Industries 2006. She was the first winner of National Anti-Drug Assay Contest. She has also written several topics for The Malaysian Journal of Analytical Sciences. Prior to Bionas, she worked with Latexx Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Kamunting Perak, 2002. Then she joined Combinational Technologies and Catalysis Research Centre (COMBICAT) from 2003 to 2008. She was responsible to formulate nonionic surfactant based on palm oil component through ethoxylation process which is used heterogenous and homogensous catalyst. This surfactant is important to produce emulsifier, stabilizer and detergency in any application. |

Hasrat Bin Ibrahim, a Malaysian, was appointed to Bionas Group as Finance & Accounting Manager. His portfolio of responsibilities includes accounting and financial management, as well as the Group's corporate finance & audit, risk management, budgeting and treasury activities. He has Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He has wide experiences in financial management, accounting services and audit activities. Prior to joining Bionas, he had previously worked in A. Rahman, Associates and Mass Composite Sdn Bhd and other national companies. |

Norafzatul Binti Zainol, a Malaysian, was appointed to Bionas Group as Assistant Operation Manager. Her main responsibilities include the general operation of the head quarter office, network of nurseries, and Bionas affiliate's compnies. She reports directly to the Operations Manager in administrating BIONAS & BATC companies. She has Bachelor's Degree in Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang. Prior to joining Bionas, she had previously worked in counseling and communication department for Pusat Teknologi dan Pengurusan Lanjutan (PTPL) group of companies from 2007 to 2009. She has two years experience in corporate management and communication. Besides that, she is a motivator and speaker in several educational events. |
